Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra told the media prior to his team's practice at TD Garden Saturday that All-Star forward Chris Bosh will not be available for action in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals.
"I'm not thinking about Chris today, I'm not," Spoelstra said. "He's not on my mind. And I love you, Chris, but I'm focused on Sunday. That's where all of my energies are focused right now."
Bosh has been out since straining an abdominal muscle in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. Friday marked the end of the Heat's five-game playoff winning streak, with the Celtics managing to take advantage of Bosh's absence by scoring 58 points in the paint.
There had been some speculation that Bosh might be nearing a return considering he traveled with the Heat for the first time since his injury and had been participating in basketball drills of late.
Bosh averaged 18 points and 7.9 rebounds per game during the regular season.
