Following the Celtics' 101-85 blowout of the 76ers in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals, Kevin Garnett praised the hometown Garden crowd for carrying them through the critical third quarter while tossing a not-so-subtle dig Philadelphia's way in the process.
"Not even close," said Garnett of Philly fans compared to Boston fans. "Not even close. You got fans, and then you got fair-weather fans. Take it how you want."
Garnett finished with 20 points on 8-of-17 shooting to go along with six rebounds and a pair of steals, and the Celtics take a 3-2 lead into Game 6 against the Sixers in Philadelphia on Wednesday night.
