The Patriots agreed to a four-year deal worth $4.2 million with second-round draft pick Tavon Wilson, according to a report from scouts.com's Aaron Wilson. The former University of Illinois defensive back reportedly will receive a $1.5 million bonus.
Wilson, a surprise pick by the Patriots at No. 48 overall last month, was an honorable mention all-Big Ten player in 2011 and 2010. The Fighting Iliini's captain last season, he was third on the team with 81 tackles in 13 games in 2011.
