CHICAGO -- Kevin Youkilis was scratched just before Sunday's series finale between the Red Sox and White Sox due to what was being classified as left, lower back tightness.
Youkilis was hitting .272 (with a grand slam) on the current road trip, was slated to hit sixth against White Sox starter Gavin Floyd. He was replaced in the lineup by Nick Punto, who made his first start since April 16.
