Celtics forward Chris Wilcox did not make the trip to Los Angeles after what the team called "routine cardiac testing," that will require follow-up tests. Wilcox missed Friday's game with Portland with the team citing a personal matter.
There is no timeframe for the tests although Wilcox will miss the team's next two games against the Lakers and Clippers at the least. A free agent forward, Wilcox is averaging 5.4 points and 4.4 rebounds in his first season with the team.
In an unrelated matter, the Celtics had to void the contract of Jeff Green after tests revealed a heart aneurysm. Green had heart surgery and is sitting out the season.
