Rajon Rondo has been suspended for two games without pay by the NBA following his actions in the third quarter of the Celtics' game with the Pistons on Sunday night. Rondo threw the ball at referee Sean Wright after he didn't get a call on a drive to the basket. He was given two technical fouls and ejected.
Rondo's suspension will begin Monday night when the Celtics play the Mavericks and will also include Wednesday's game against Oklahoma City. He'll be eligible to return on Feb. 28 when the Celtics play at Cleveland following the All-Star break.
