Red Sox shortstop Julio Lugo came out in the seventh inning of Saturday's game with what he described to reporters as a groin injury. Manager Terry Francona, who said that the issue might be a hip flexor, told reporters that, while the issue is seemingly minor, the team is likely to sit Lugo on Sunday in hopes that, combined with an off-day on Monday, he will be able to rest to the point of avoiding any risk of a more serious injury. Lugo went 1-for-2 with a walk on Saturday, and is hitting .333 with a .407 OBP and .865 OPS.
