The NBA lockout is finally officially over. After approval from the players union, the NBA's Board of Governors ratified the 10-year agreement by a vote of 25-5. Training camps will open on Friday as expected and the moratorium on signing free agents will be lifted at 2 p.m.
The salary cap will be set at $58.044 million with a luxury tax level of $70.307 million. The Celtics are expected to be over the tax line, which would limit them to using the smaller mid-level exception -- a three-year deal starting at $3 million per season -- in free agency.
