FOXBORO -- After reportedly spraining the MCL in his left knee against the Raiders on Oct. 2, Jerod Mayo was back at Patriots practice in the light rain on Friday on the main Gillette Stadium field.
Running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis also returned to practice on Friday after being limited on Wednesday and missing Thursday with a toe injury. Vince Wilfork returned after missing Thursday due to what he termed "personal business" and is expected to be ready for Sunday against the Cowboys.
The only player not spotted on the field was safety Josh Barrett, who has been out this week with hamstring and thumb injuries.
