FOXBORO -- Rex Ryan spoke to the media following the Jets' 30-21 loss to the Patriots on Sunday. The Jets have now lost three straight games and stand two games behind the Patriots (and Bills) in the AFC East standings.
"Obviously, they are the better team right now," Ryan said. "The score indicated that. I was encouraged, though, by our team. We did some good things. We got back to some runs and completions. I thought we did some good things offensively. Against New England, you've got to get off the field. We couldn't do that, and you've got to give them all the credit. That's an excellent football team and we've got to be smarter, got to play smarter."
