Following the Patriots 31-19 win over the Raiders Sunday afternoon, New England coach Bill Belichick had no updates about the status of linebacker Jerod Mayo. The Patriots' captain went down in the second quarter with an injury to his left knee, and had to be helped off the field.
"We'll look at it tomorrow and see where he's at going into this week," Belichick said after the game.
Entering Sunday's game, the Tennessee product led the team in tackles with 25. Mayo, who injured his right knee in 2009, is one of the most durable players on the roster, having only missed three games since he arrived in the NFL prior to the start of the 2008 season.
