Rajon Rondo hasn't sounded overly optimistic about the thought of playing overseas if the NBA lockout continues into the upcoming season, but he has apparently set a target date of Oct. 1 on making a final decision [1]. "It just depends," Rondo said in Beaumont, Texas at the summer camp of former teammate Kendrick Perkins. "My agent and I will sit down and we'll talk about it, and discuss what's best for me."
It's unclear what kind of options there may be, even for a player of Rondo's stature. To date, New Jersey's Deron Williams has been the only prominent player to sign with a European team and it appears that Kobe Bryant's flirtation with Beisktas -- the same team that signed Williams -- is coming to an end [2].
