Patriots fourth-year cornerback Kyle Arrington has signed a two-year extension with the team, according to a source. The deal has a maximum value of $3,275,00 but would pay him a minimum salary this season and $850,000 next season.
Arrington started 14 games in the Patriots secondary last season and played in all 16 games in some form. He recorded 71 tackles in that time and returned his only interception of the year for a touchdown. He had played in only nine games for New England in his first two seasons in the NFL. He was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Hofstra before the 2009 season.
