Celtics unsigned second-round draft pick E'Twaun Moore inked a one-year, $200,000 contract overseas with Italian club Benetton Treviso, according to Sportando.net.
Over the last week, Moore had reportedly come close to signing a deal with another Italian team, Cimberio Varese, in the same league (Lega Serie A), but talks broke down over an opt-out clause that would allow him to return to the Celtics when the NBA lockout comes to an end. Moore's agent Mark Bartlestein did negotiate that opt-out clause as part of the deal with Treviso, according to multiple reports.
The No. 55 selection in the 2011 NBA draft, Moore averaged 18.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists as a senior for the Purdue Boilermakers.
