Gerry Callahan was named co-host of the Dennis & Callahan show back in October of 1997. Callahan, a Boston native began his career at the Lowell Sun in 1983. After 6 ½ years of service at the Lowell Sun, he went to the Boston Herald for another 5 years before accepting a Senior Writer position at Sports Illustrated.

Along with his duties at WEEI, Callahan also appears regularly on Fox Sports New England and ESPN's Sports Writers.

Gerry has two children, Shannon and Jack and is married to Tracy, but fantasizes about Anne Coulter. Gerry is currently building a shelter for displaced pit bulls. In his free time he enjoys golf, basketball, whittling, collecting hummels, and yard sales.
