BOSTON, MA (October 23, 2012) – Sports Radio WEEI 93.7 today announced a brand new Red Sox-specific show called Red Sox Hot Stove, which will debut on Thursday night, October 25. Red Sox Hot Stove will air every Thursday evening from 7:00-8:00 p.m. and will run for 16 weeks, through February 14, 2013.
Hosted by Kirk Minihane, along with WEEI.com Red Sox insiders Rob Bradford and Alex Speier, Red Sox Hot Stove promises to be a true Red Sox insider show that brings Sox fans the most comprehensive coverage of the team's offseason moves. The program will be focused exclusively on the Red Sox and will include regular interviews with Sox GM Ben Cherington as well as many other Sox beat writers and columnists who will provide unique information and insight.
"This has been a very difficult season for Red Sox fans, but it also means that the offseason will be incredibly meaningful," said Jason Wolfe, VP of Programming and Operations for Entercom Boston. "There will be more Red Sox talk this offseason than in any other in recent memory given the needs of the team, and this show will provide listeners with the most up to date information as it happens."
