Former Bruins player and coach and current television analyst Mike Milbury will not face any charges stemming from a December 9th incident at a youth hockey game in Brookline, according to multiple reports. A Boston Herald report states that a spokeswoman for Milbury said a clerk magistrate at Brookline District Court ruled there wasn't enough evidence to move ahead with the case. After the decision, Milbury said the incident was “an unfortunate misunderstanding.” Milbury, a Massachusetts native, played for the Bruins from 1975-76 through 1986-87. He coached the Bruins for two seasons, guiding them to the Stanley Cup finals in 1990, his first season at the helm. He later spent four seasons as coach of the Islanders and was the team's general manager for 11 years. For more Boston Bruins news, visit weei.com/bruins.
