Over the first few weeks of training camp, it’s become quite clear that not only is Jared Sullinger ready to play in the NBA, he’s already become accepted by his veteran teammates.

Like the leaves changing colors, it’s an annual rite of October for NBA teams across the land to announce their commitment to the running game when training camps open. Really, what else are they going to say: We’re going to play a boring, slow-down game that our fans will hate?  Obviously not.

LAS VEGAS – When he was in college, Dionte Christmas scored 2,043 points, sank a school-record 319 3-pointers, and won two Atlantic-10 championships, neither of which would have even been remotely possible were it not for his presence. But for his former coach Fran Dunphy, the only number that mattered was one.

Over the last two seasons, few teams have given the newly-crowned NBA champion Heat more problems than the Celtics. The C’s have won six of the eight regular season games meetings and took Miami to the brink of elimination in the conference finals.

06/20/2012 - 6:50pm
It’s been almost two weeks since the Celtics were eliminated in the playoffs and there’s still much uncertainty about the direction of the team with 10 free agents and only four players under contract for next season. But really, this can all be very simple.
