About Kirk Minihane

Kirk Minihane thinks "Slap Shot" is -- without argument -- the best sports movie ever made and is also convinced the 1985-86 Celtics would have finished with a record of 78-4 if they had cared about the regular season. He has been a columnist at WEEI.com since 2009 and is now part of The Dennis & Callahan Show.

Report Card time and it's becoming clear that this team is going to go as far as Tom Brady can take it. Forget the salad days of 2003 and 2004, with the offense and defense as equal partners in the road to glory.

Here come the Week 3 picks, and I'm just trying to get back to .500. Not a great Week 2 (6-9-1) and since Week 1 was my bye I stand three games under for the season as we head into this weekend.
