WILMINGTON -- If all goes according to plan, Bobby Robins will be in the NHL the next time he reads “The Catcher in the Rye.”

08/13/2013 - 1:01am
The Bruins are going to be very good this season. Maybe they'll be better than last season, but remember, better does not mean more successful.
DJ Bean
07/14/2013 - 1:03pm
WILMINGTON -- It's been two years since the Bruins made Anthony Camara a surprise third-round pick, and as the 19-year-old leaves behind an OHL career in which he went from a seldom-scoring agitator to a frequently suspended 36-goal-scorer and heads for the AHL, he isn't forgetting his goal.
DJ Bean
07/12/2013 - 2:59pm
Eight years is a long, long time, but the Bruins just can’t get enough of Patrice Bergeron.
DJ Bean
07/11/2013 - 4:36pm
Tuukka Rask took a gamble last season by taking a one-year deal. Now the Bruins are the ones taking a gamble, but the stakes are much higher.
DJ Bean
07/10/2013 - 3:28pm
WILMINGTON – When Malcolm Subban watched the Bruins come two wins away from winning the Stanley Cup, he was bummed out.
DJ Bean
07/08/2013 - 2:14pm
Loui Eriksson has a lot of things going for him as he comes to the Bruins, and the biggest one is pretty simple: He’s a sure thing.
DJ Bean
07/06/2013 - 2:39pm
Peter Chiarelli has done more than remake the right side of Boston’s offense.
DJ Bean
07/04/2013 - 5:31pm
Tyler Seguin wasn’t a Bruin, and now he isn’t a Bruin.
DJ Bean
07/03/2013 - 12:03pm
The Bruins have some holes in their lineup, and they're on the right side of the offense.
DJ Bean
06/30/2013 - 11:55pm
“He’s maturing before our eyes. I feel that with the hard work that he’s shown us and the willingness to put in that hard work and continue to improve, I think the sky is the limit for Tyler.”
DJ Bean
06/28/2013 - 1:45pm
Having good players is slowly but surely catching up to the Bruins.
DJ Bean
06/26/2013 - 4:08pm
Tuukka Rask is going to get all sorts of money.  “I think he’ll get two, 2 1/2 [million dollars],” Brad Marchand said at Wednesday’s breakup day.
DJ Bean
06/25/2013 - 11:53pm
Has the sting gone away yet? Yeah, it probably won’t for a while. Yet in this fun world of lockout-shortened seasons and altered offseasons, Bruins decision-makers really won’t have any time off after a heartbreaking end to a Stanley Cup run.
DJ Bean
06/25/2013 - 5:48am
The 2013 NHL season ended in Boston, and though it wasn’t the result the city wanted, it couldn’t have been more fitting.
DJ Bean
06/22/2013 - 11:20pm
CHICAGO – The Bruins’ situation right now is a lot like the 45-minute mark of Ted: It isn’t good, but it isn’t over.
DJ Bean
06/21/2013 - 6:49pm
CHICAGO -- There's been no finger-biting, no whining, no complaints to the league. It's just been good hockey.
DJ Bean
06/20/2013 - 1:23am
Jonathan Toews didn’t just poke the bear, he went all Liam Neeson and taped broken nips bottles to his hands* in preparation for a best-of-three battle he isn’t afraid of his team fighting.
DJ Bean
06/19/2013 - 12:12pm
Neither Rich Peverley's body nor his feelings are hurt.
DJ Bean
06/18/2013 - 1:52pm
Hockey players will do just about anything for the Stanley Cup. You knew that, of course. This isn't a news story.
DJ Bean
06/18/2013 - 1:19am
How are the Bruins beating the Blackhawks? Kind of the same way they beat the Penguins: by taking Chicago’s top offensive players out of the equation.
DJ Bean
06/16/2013 - 2:26am
CHICAGO – What was that thing that appeared on the ice a little over halfway through the second period on Saturday at United Center?  It was hard to tell exactly what it was, but it created chances, forced turnovers and scored two goals.
DJ Bean
06/14/2013 - 6:40pm
CHICAGO – Maybe the perception of Nathan Horton is wrong.
DJ Bean
06/13/2013 - 6:53pm
CHICAGO – This isn’t the time for Claude Julien to worry about player development.
DJ Bean
06/13/2013 - 1:57am
CHICAGO – The Bruins could have been sleeping at midnight Thursday in Chicago, so it was only fitting that their shortcomings led to them getting a wakeup call at that time.
