The 76ers apparently trust the process of their trade discussions with the Celtics -- centered around nabbing the No. 1 overall pick from the Celtics -- well enough to give Markelle Fultz his own stall in the Philly locker room. At least if we’re to believe the latest Tweet from Sixers big man Joel Embiid.

The tweet was a simple one. It was just Embiid and Sixers teammate Dario Saric, in front of a locker, with the a Fultz nameplate, and with Embiid’s signature ‘Trust the Process’ slogan as the caption.

Embiid’s tweet could very well mean nothing, as this could be the Sixers simply giving Fultz the NBA treatment before his workout with the team tonight. Or it could be even more proof that the Sixers and C’s are closing in on a deal, which seems to center around the Sixers sending the No. 3 overall pick this year, but with the Celtics seeking additional and future first-round selections from the Sixers. It’s believed that the Celtics also want the 2018 unprotected Lakers pick and a first as far down the road as 2021 from the Sixers, according to The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

A source also told Philly.com that Fultz, who averaged 23.2 points and 5.9 assists in 25 games as a freshman for the Washington Huskies this past season, canceled a scheduled second meeting with the Celtics in order to go through his workout with the 76ers.

There’s also a belief that a deal could be finalized later today depending on how his workout goes.
