On Monday, news came out that former Patriots receiver Terry Glenn passed away in an auto accident in Texas at the age of 43.

Glenn played for the Patriots from 1996-2001 and has a connection with Tom Brady, as he caught Brady's first career touchdown pass.

Speaking on Westwood One with Jim Gray Monday night, Brady spoke of his relationship with Glenn.

“Terry was such a great player and a great teammate," he said. "I loved playing with him. He was so talented. He went to Ohio State so I was very familiar with him at Michigan, and was a high draft pick for the Patriots. He had an incredible rookie season and a great future with the team. It was very sad to hear the news today. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.”

Brady also posted on social media earlier in the afternoon.
