ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Tom Brady was not a happy camper after the first drive of the game, which ironically resulted in three points for the Patriots.

The 40-year-old quarterback went to the sidelines as usual and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels said something and then Brady snapped back at him resulting in a fairly heated exchange. Things did settle down quickly as the two sat next to each other and reviewed the plays from that series like normal.

It didn't escalate again during the game.

"Just football," Brady said afterwards. "We've been around each other a lot so I love Josh."

Added Brady: "It's nothing. It's just football. Just football. Bring two competitive people and it's just the way it goes."

This isn't the first time Brady and his offensive coordinator have gotten into it on the sidelines, as he and Bill O'Brien famously got into it a few years back.

Here's video of Brady and McDaniels from Sunday.
