FOXBORO -- Based on what they said on Friday, Rob Gronkowski and Danny Amendola should be on the field Sunday against the Texans.

Gronkowski left last Sunday's game against the Saints with a groin injury, but declared himself good to go against Houston.

“Am I good to go? Yeah, I’m good to go,” said Gronkowski. “I’m ready.”

Amendola missed last week's game with a concussion and ankle injury suffered in the season opener, but participated in practice this week. He too sounded like he will be on the field Sunday.

“I feel really good,” said Amendola. "I had a strong week. We were flying around out there in our group, and we’re excited to get out there.”

It's not too often the Patriots speak about injuries, so these players sounding so positive could be a strong sign they are playing against the Texans.
