After the Patriots claimed Martellus Bennett off waivers last week after he was released by the Packers and then was active on Sunday against the Broncos following reportedly saying he needed surgery on his shoulder, many wondered if the NFL would look into the situation.

That answer came on Tuesday.

On a NFL media conference call, league spokesman Joe Lockhart was asked if there are any tampering issues surrounding the Patriots and Bennett. Lockhard responded, "No."

Bennett has been very outspoken with how he feels about Green Bay, as he said he felt pressured to play with the injury.

The tight end finished with three catches for 38 yards in his first game back with New England.
