There will always be a rivalry between the Patriots and Peyton Manning.

Even though Manning is retired, Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman still was able to take a shot at him as he hosted Wednesday night's ESPY awards.

The Patriots won the Best Game ESPY for their 34-28 overtime win over the Falcons in Super Bowl LI. Edelman was one of the few Patriots on hand and spoke on stage when receiving the award. He discussed the game, thanked Patriots fans for voting, and also took a dig at Manning.

“I never really thought I’d say this, but Peyton Manning is kind of killing it," Edelman said.

But he quickly added, "Yeah, we are indoors, though.”

It was an obvious shot at Manning for playing his home games indoors with the Colts and then struggling outdoors, particularly in cold weather games at Gillette Stadium.
