The Red Sox held their first full squad workout Monday in Fort Myers, but it remains to be seen whether or not it will be the same group the team has on Opening Day.

It's been speculated for virtually the entire offseason the Red Sox will sign J.D. Martinez, but yet he still remains a free agent.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, owner John Henry didn't want to discuss Martinez or any other free agent.

"I really don't want to talk about free agents, J.D. Martinez or anybody else," Henry said.

"We are very happy with our roster," he added. "I think we do have the highest payroll in Boston. And again, we're defending American League East champions and I feel like we've done what we needed to do to improve this team."

The reality is the Red Sox didn't change much at all this offseason, except for changing the manager and coaching staff.

With all that being said, ESPN's Buster Olney speculated on Twitter Sunday he expects Martinez to sign with a team very soon and then on Monday he said he expects it to be with the Red Sox.
