Former Patriots CB Brandon Browner reportedly arrested for 'criminal threats'

According to TMZ Sports, former Patriots cornerback Brandon Browner was arrested Monday night in Los Angeles. The report says he was was arrested for allegedly making criminal threats, a felony, against a woman.

Browner was taken into custody and his bail was set at $50,000. He posted bail and was released just after 11 p.m. 

The cornerback spent the 2014 season with the Patriots, but didn't return the following season. He spent 2015 with the Saints and then returned to Seattle last season, but didn't make the 53-man roster. He hasn't signed with a team since.

With the Patriots, Browner started nine games and helped the team win Super Bowl XLIX.
