Not only did Josh McDaniels leave the Colts at the alter when he decided to change his mind and not take their head-coaching job to stay in New England, he also left a few coaches hanging.

A couple coaches signed contracts with the Colts with the assumption McDaniels would be the head coach.

One of them -- defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus -- apparently is not upset with McDaniels for leaving him hanging.

While emceeing an event Tuesday night with Indianapolis players, brass and coaches, MMQB's Peter King was able to speak with Eberflus. King said Eberflus told him he has no hard feelings towards McDaniels after he moved from Dallas to Indy and then McDaniels ultimately stayed in New England.

New head coach Frank Reich basically had no choice but to keep him on staff since he signed a contract.

King also noted the Colts fans are still very upset with McDaniels and the Patriots, hissing and boo'ing when he brought them up.
