AROUND THE WEB:

-- Kyrie Irving’s new Nike ad debuted on Monday and it’s a wild one.

The Irving-directed commercial for the new “Ankletaker” Kyrie 4 sneakers stars the Celtics alongside Rob Gronkowski, Jayson Tatum and an orchestra.

Gronkowski recites Sun Tzu’s “Art of War” and Irving makes a flat-earth joke.

“This is my world,” Irving says before spinning a big, flat silver Earth.

Gronkowski sat courtside at the Celtics’ Christmas Day game on Monday.

-- Buccaneers defensive tackle Sealver Siliga left an extremely generous Christmas Eve tip for the staff at a Tampa Bay Applebee’s.

Siliga and some teammates ate at the restaurant after losing to the Panthers on Sunday and got their bill around 10 p.m. Siliga reportedly asked the waiter how many staffers were still working because he wanted to leave each of them a $100 tip.

He ended up dropping $1,000 for a grand total of $1,256.93.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: “I do wish I had more information. It was never, ‘This could be something that could possibly shut you down for a while.’ Because if that were the case, I definitely wouldn’t have played.” -- Isaiah Thomas, claiming the Celtics’ medical staff mislead him about his hip injury last season
