Late Night host Seth Meyers joked on his show Wednesday night about the Patriots becoming the first NFL team to buy its own airplanes.

“The New England Patriots have become the first NFL team to buy their own planes to fly to games, while the Cleveland Browns have been downgraded to the overhead bin on Spirit Airlines,” he said.

The Patriots acknowledged their newest acquisitions on Tuesday.

Meyers has New England roots (his mother is from Massachusetts and he graduated from high school in New Hampshire) but he is a vocal Steelers fan. He is, however, a fan of the Red Sox and Celtics.
