John Farrell reportedly inks deal with broadcasting talent agency
Former Red Sox manager John Farrell has reportedly signed a deal with broadcasting talent firm The Montag Group.
On Monday, Richard Deitsch tweeted, “[email protected]_SBJ reports that The Montag Group, a well-known broadcasting talent firm, has signed former Boston Red Sox manager John Farrell. So I'd watch for that guy to start to get some reps on MLB shows. That's how the business works. Big firms can place.”
Farrell was fired from the Red Sox in October and has mostly stayed out of the spotlight since then, but did appear on MLB Network’s Hot Stove Show last week.
After Farrell’s predecessor Terry Francona was fired from the Red Sox he spent the 2012 season as an MLB analyst for ESPN before becoming the Indians manager in 2013.
