Tom Brady and Richard Sherman clearly respect the hell out of each other. Sherman proved that by congratulating Brady after Super Bowl XLIX. Brady returned the favor by liking and commenting on Sherman's Instagram post saying goodbye to Seattle this week.

A troll tried to get under Brady's skin in the comments section, but the Patriots quarterback shut him up with just two words.

Per, which pulled together the various pieces of this new-media stupidity, Sherman posted a farewell to Seahawks fans after agreeing to a three-year deal with the rival 49ers. Brady liked the post and offered a comment praising Sherman. "Incredible player and they were lucky to have you," Brady wrote.

A commenter jumped in and taunted Brady. "Didn't he intercept you a billion times?" he wrote.

Brady didn't waste a lot of words on his critic.

"Just once," he responded accurately. Sherman picked Brady in the "U mad bro?" game back in 2012, but not in the Super Bowl or their 2016 rematch.

Turns out Brady knows how to pick apart more than just an opposing defense.
