Ryan Langerhans was given new life on Friday night in the fourth inning when a fan failed to give way to Kevin Youkilis, who was reaching one row into the stands to make a play on a foul ball. Langerhans doubled on the next pitch to start a three-run rally off Tim Wakefield. "(Dustin) Pedroia and I had a pretty good laugh about it out at second base," Langerhans said. "I was like, 'They're about to wear him out.' And he said, 'Oh, you have no idea.'" The Red Sox went on to lose, 7-6, to the Mariners in 11 innings at Fenway.
